Status: partly available. The Publisher Console lists tenants (search and filter by state) and shows one tenant’s registry facts. Grace overrides, trial dates and licensing changes are planned and not available yet.

One subscription per tenant

A customer organisation is one Microsoft Entra tenant. Valedo maps each Marketplace subscription to the beneficiary tenant (the one that uses the service), not to the purchaser. A tenant has at most one active subscription; a second purchase is shown on the landing page with guidance and is not activated.

Licence states

The transitions and the Microsoft lifecycle they follow are in README §4.8. When signatures don’t work, the add-in inserts nothing and the customer’s admin sees license_inactive (402) or tenant_not_onboarded (403).

Trials

  • Trials are owned by Microsoft. The trial starts when Valedo activates the subscription, so activation happens as soon as onboarding is complete.
  • A trial converts to paid automatically unless the customer cancels. Upgrading to paid ends the trial at once.
  • You cannot extend a Marketplace trial. If a customer needs more time, use a grace override and agree the commercial side outside Valedo.
  • No usage is reported to Microsoft during a trial.

Grace overrides

Valedo.Publisher.Admin only. A grace override keeps signatures working when the subscription itself would not. It needs a start date, an end date, a reason and a note, and it is always shown as an override, never as a Marketplace state. It changes nothing in Microsoft billing. Tenants used for demos can be flagged as internal or complimentary in the same view.

Tenant detail

Valedo.Publisher.Support and Valedo.Publisher.Admin can open a tenant and see its name, lifecycle state, tenant ID, Marketplace subscription ID, and whether signatures are being served. These facts are read-only. Not shown yet: the state timeline, the raw webhook history, trial end, mailbox count history and directory sync health. Template and rule content is never shown here; it is visible only under a customer’s support access, which is planned.
