# Roles

> Who can view and change signatures in the Valedo Admin Portal.

> [!WARNING]

> **Status: in development.**

Valedo has two customer roles. You assign them in **Microsoft Entra admin center → Enterprise applications → Valedo → Users and groups**. Assigning groups is easier to maintain than assigning people one by one.

| Role | Can do |
| - | - |
| `Valedo.User` | See and change templates, rules and images; see directory status, subscription and audit log |
| `Valedo.Admin` | Everything, including rules, settings, subscription details and support-access grants |

![The two Valedo roles: User and Admin.](https://mintcdn.com/valedo/qJTGARKMXS3wNxEk/images/admin-guide/roles.svg?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=qJTGARKMXS3wNxEk\&q=85\&s=99db04765059af079328c57c7ee3d0fa)

*Valedo.Admin includes all Valedo.User permissions.*

Everyone else in your organisation still gets signatures in Outlook. A role only controls access to the Admin Portal.

Every change in the Admin Portal is recorded in the audit log with who made it and when.
